Direct Action to Conserve the World’s Most Threatened Birds
The Bird Conservation Fund is a U.S. non-profit dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats globally, with a focus on threatened and endangered species. We accomplish this by raising funds to make small grants to support direct conservation, applied research and through raising public awareness of the plight of threatened bird species.
The Bird Conservation Fund is a volunteer led organization. We work with both small and large organizations around the globe to identify opportunities where small investments can make a big difference. Our network of conservation professionals work to advance our mission of protecting threatened populations of species.
The Bird Conservation Fund invests in individuals and small organizations who can produce tangible results. We use a variety of funding mechanisms, including social media campaigns to raise small donations that support bird conservation close to the ground. We ensure that 100% of these project funds go directly to funding conservation. With more than 1,400 globally threatened bird species, and numerous conservation priorities on every continent, there are no lack of important projects to consider.
Please support our projects, and please join us in our mission. If you have a project that you believe might fit, please review this background and contact us.
